Services Terms and Conditions

The number of sessions is dependant of client's and client's dogs ability, completion of tasks set by the trainer, attendance rate and many more attributes.

In-home therapy training is often completed in under the 2-year recommended time.

Private payments are billed at $130.00. This includes travel within 25kms from Morphett Vale, any further will be billed at $1.00 per Km on top of total.

For NDIS clients, costing is split on invoicing and travel kms and time are to be added onto total. Sessions vary in price due to level of non face to face, travel time and kms needed. Average cost of a session is $130.00, please contact for a personalised quote.

The assistance dog/in-home therapy training program includes 3 specifically trained 'tasking' skills in where the dog is trained to mitigate effects of the clients disability. Any extras can be trained in after the completion of the program for the price of individual sessions.

Dealing with animals can be very unpredictable, a negative experience for instance, can undo months of training or even write off the chance for a dog to pass.  Similarly some dogs just don't have the right drive or personality for the working world,  because of this there can be no guarantees made that a dog will make it to Public Access standard.

Similarly, success with any type of dog training, including assistance or pet-dog, is determeined on the dog and handlers abilities, dedication to training between sessions, consistency and application of the knowledge and methods taught by the Assistive K9s trainer. A negative experience can have a large impact on a dogs behaviour and reactions to future triggers, this can vastly effect the progress of training.
